On the outside, Amanda Evert was a graduate student of social anthropology; on the inside, she was an intense chronicler of the metaphysical. She believed wholeheartedly that the common notion of reality is nothing but a thin, drab layer pulled over the infinite truth of the soul.

 

She studied every religious and mystical system in the world, past and present, and while still at university was already something of an expert on theology and mysticism. She had a pet theory that fragments of a single, long forgotten mystical belief system exist within the rites and rituals of shamanism, witchcraft and many religions.

 

Her dream was to rediscover this supreme knowledge from the past and teach it to people so they could gain spiritual enlightenment. At the time it seemed more like a youthful dalliance than a true obsession; something Lara considered harmless.

 

She was undoubtedly comfortable with exploring beyond the boundaries of scientific inquiry, but she was also a brilliant researcher who was still in touch with the modern world. She was young, a bit bookish, not too self-confident, and a bit of a hippy.

 

Her relationship with Lara is typified by playful philosophical banter; they disagreed, but they crossed intellectual swords without becoming exasperated or angry at the others' firm viewpoint.

 

Then one day in Peru, while excavating a tomb Lara believed contained the last queen of Tiwanaku, her team of graduate students breeched a new room and all hell broke loose.

 

Lara was the only one to return to the surface, where the team's structural engineer, Anaya Imanu, listened in horror to Lara's story of how a malevolent entity of some kind slaughtered everyone in the tomb, except for Lara and Amanda. But as the two tried to escape, Amanda set off a trap that sealed the room, brought down the roof, and drowned Amanda.

 

When players complete Tomb Raider Legend, they will be able to play through the game using the Amanda model!

Pues paso de leer lo que dice, ya descubrire su historia.

 

Lo que es seguro es que es un personaje desbloqueable al pasarte el juego. Bien!!!! Eso me gusta. Podremos jugar toda la aventura con ella, que chuli!! Mucho mejor que si fuera personaje secundario, porque no me gustan.

Si no me equiboco el personaje desbloqueable es Amanda pero no estoy seguro porque el ingles no se me da muy bien xD, en fin... si alguien se ofrece a traducirlo se agradecería mucho :wink3: Saludos a todos!!!

Yo lo traduciría pero es que entonces me entero de la historia xDDD ya me enteré de demasiado cuando leí de refilón ese trozo que dice que quería desvelar las antiguas costumbres del chamanismo y no sé qué más xDD

aunque por los tatuajes que lleva ya se huele uno que le van rollos de brujerías y espitirismos o cosas místicas xDD

No es nada de eso, es la biografía de Amanda, cuenta como conoció a Lara y cual era su relación.

 

También habla sobre una expedición en Perú dirigida por Lara donde los estudiantes licenciados en arqueología excavando en una tumba encuentran un nuevo pasadizo, y sin querer liberan una entidad malévola que mato a toda la clase de la expedición, quedando solo vivas Lara y Amanda.

 

Aquí tenéis la bios de los personajes, no son perfectas, pero al menos algo se entiende.

Me pregunto si todos estos datos biográficos de Lara y los otros personajes aparecerán en el juego,ya sea en el manual o en el dvd como introducción al juego.

¿Habrá manual? porque podían explicar los botones,movimientos e info interactivamente con imágenes y texto en un menú en el dvd.Sería,no sé,más llamativo

wau está chulisimo, solo he entendido la última frase, lo necesario para saber que pone. Dice que al acabar el juego podremos volverlo a jugar con el modelo de Amanda, de ahí el traje freskillo ese que lleva y los mismos gadgets que Lara. Aunq de ser asi, no se que pintaría el modelo de Amanda en el accidente del Himalaya jeje pero bueno. Me gusta bastante la idea, si señorrr, otro puntito mas a favor del juego, y ya van muchossss

estaria mu bien manejarla pero que pinta que manejemos a una mala? me gusta la idea pero es verdad que pinta en los himalayas, por que va a esos lughares. alo mejor son istorias diferentes??

Me imagino que unicamente será cambiar la skin de Lara por la de Amanda, me imagino que seguirá la misma trama, aunque quedará mal ver como la Amanda mala presencia la muerte de ella misma, jajaja
